Starting Nov 1^st, we will be enhancing the focus of our Tuesday night meetings. We will start with our usual ‘Risso Therapy’ (humor), and our discussions will include faith and spiritual aspects, along with mutual support on singles lifestyle issues.

We’re open to all unmarried people who are sincerely interested in friendship and fellowship and not necessarily just looking for a ‘quick fix’. Our most recent Community Calendar announcement is posted online at http://www.samslambs.org/Media/commcal.htm  Help spread the word – pass it around to your friends.

We’ll continue to have open social events, like our monthly Singles Feast on Nov 19. We may even expand the format there, with live music, or performers, and invite other singles groups to join us. But, we desperately need volunteers who will contribute their ideas and time to plan, and to work at events. I’ve always wanted to set up a Singles CoffeeHouse but I need help to do that, especially from people who have contacts with musicians, or performers who would work free or inexpensively. If you have any ideas, or are willing to volunteer in any way, please attend a meeting and add your contact information to our Volunteer list or call and leave a message on our voice mail.

I hope to see you at our next Tuesday night meeting, and then at our ‘meeting after the meeting’ at Dunkin Donuts on North Ave in Webster. Perhaps, you can also join us on
Nov 12^th as we visit the Moose Lodge in Newark, to hear and dance to the Reflections band who play great 50s and 60s music. They made me feel like I was back in High School again, and with just as much vitality as then. One of our members has started playing with them, so that’s another reason to attend, so we can cheer her on too.
