Greetings Lambs, What You Missed: Our Tuesday night groups have almost finished the audio tapes on ‘Building Healthy Adult Relationships’ by Earnie Larson. We’ve learned much on how to grow healthy relationships and enjoyed spirited talks. We will continue to work with one last tape on Dec 5th and Dec 12th. We did a drawing for a Gift Exchange which will take place in our last Dec meeting, on the 19th, which will be for fellowship and comparing what we’ve learned. On Sat Nov 18th we held our monthly Singles Feast and used the time together to also plan more coming events. We had so many interesting suggestions they carried us beyond December as far as February, including a Singles trip in the Spring. Brief descriptions are posted below and on our calendar. On Sunday Nov 19th at 9 AM, Father Lance did a presentation on ‘The Spirituality of Singularity’ It was a very good talk and gave us a good introduction to our new Bible Study group that Fr. Lance will be leading. Our Bible/Life study sessions begin on Dec 9th, 11:00 AM in our church library, using ‘Bible for Dummies’ . We will also be covering questions from singles, on whatever has been a concern for you, whether it’s from the Bible or a church/religion tradition. We will have ongoing meetings on the 2nd and 4th Sat mornings, led by Father Lance Robbins, followed by lunch at a local restaurant, or we’ll brown bag it. You need to reserve in advance, for $12. for the cost of the book and other materials, for as often as you can attend, –through June , when our discussion meetings end. December Calendar. Dec 1, 6 pm until ? White Christmas celebration in Webster. Meet at Good Shepherd parking lot at 5:45 pm to carpool to parking lot downtown. GS Bell choir plays at 6pm on Main St; horse drawn carriage tour of lights; musical groups; refreshments; beer & wine tasting. Check our site or Voice Mail for the location, to reserve and get directions. Dec 3 Noon - ? Joe Bishop Auto Sales Open House – music, refreshments, miniature town displays, story telling. At Bishop Auto Sales on Rt 104 in Ontario. Meet at GS parking lot at Noon to carpool. Dec 9th 11:00 Am and Dec 23rd, GS Library – Bible Study led by Father Lance –using Bible For Dummies. Sign up on Tues nights or call our voice mail above. See a description of Bible for Dummies on our site. We will meet on an ongoing basis on the 2nd & 4th Sat mornings Dec 16th 6 pm – Christmas celebration at Crescent Beach on Edgemere Dr in Rochester. Reserve at meetings or on our voice mail, by December 12th. Dec 24th 11 pm – Christmas Eve service at Good Shepherd. Dec 26th – NO MEETING. Dec 31st - New Year’s eve BYOB house party at a member’s home – reserve in meetings or leave your name and phone number on our voice mail..
