Greetings Lambs, Our monthly Singles Feasts are going well, with newcomers each month, and fellowship flowing like wine with our bounteous banquet. At our next one, Feb18, 5:30 pm, we are adding music by a few outgoing people willing to share their talents in Karaoke. All singles are welcome, no matter their age, marital status, or musical ability – you won’t be required to perform. Just bring $3 and a dish-to-pass and something for our Risso Therapy (humor). If Father Lance can clear his calendar that evening he will attend and maybe take his turn at the mike ? ? Our Weekly Sunday discussions are also going well, with more flowing fellowship and good food. We start a 4 week series on Feb 5th at 1 pm, using Bishop John Shelby Spong’s articles - links to articles are on our site. The first, Three New Year Resolutions’, describes what he would like to see in all Christian churches. Bp. Spong, a retired Episcopal Bishop, always stirs up lively discussions. Sat, Feb 4th 7:00 pm – Euchre night is usually the 1st Sat. All players are welcome. This is a Fun, not Killer, Euchre night. Lessons provided for beginners at our Feasts and discussions.Sat. Feb 18 5:30 pm – Singles Feast and Karaoke – $3. a dish-to-pass, and a smile Sat Feb 25th – one of our SAM’s Lambs who plays in the Reflections band, will be performing at the Moose Lodge in Palymra. Mar 4 2:00 pm – ‘ A Broadway Revue’ fund-raiser for SAM’s Lambs at the Auditorium theatre in Rochester. Tickets: $20 for adults, $15 for seniors or students. This is not a Singles Event and is open to anyone who likes music or would like to help SAM’s Lambs. Our SAM’s members plan to network with other singles groups who attend, at a local retaurant. Volunteers Needed – for Social, or Membership/Fellowship, or Facilitator duties. Our Committees are social gatherings just like our planned socials, so come and make some new friends. We’re also working on activities for single parents and need input on that too. Remember His command – ‘Love One Another As I Have Loved You’
