Greetings Lambs, What You Missed: Our Fall Open house was held on Tuesday Sept 12th in our Parish Hall. We had 30 new and regular singles present, and had a surprise visit by 'Reverend Mother' of Nunsense fame. She had us in stitches in no time. It's hard to believe but she really is a former Roman Catholic Nun, but she fit right in with our singles group. Since Father Lance was being feted for his B'Day that night we missed him and he missed a really good kick-off to our Fall season. Rev. Mother missed him too - she asked 'where is that Robbins boy? I remember him from way back when we played out back of the church - he was the Nun and I was the Priest.' Now, that sounds more like our 'Risso Therapy' than it does like a Catholic Nun, and it certainly doesn't sound like our Robbins boy. But we knew she meant it all in good fun and so would Father Lance. We formed 2 closed discussion groups - one for Newly Single and one for Living Single for those who have been Always Single, or who are well past the hurt of divorce, or death or any other reasons. Newcomers will be welcomed into our closed discussion groups through the end of Sept but as of Oct 3rd they will have to be part of our Open/Drop-in group until the Winter session. But all singles are welcome at our Social events, with registered and paid members receiving a discount at some events. COMING in October - . Oct 6 - Friday Night Fish Fry - UNO's Chicago Grill,

POSTPONED TO NOVEMBER. Oct 13- Singles Dance a Logan's Party House 7 - Midnight - Several singles groups, besides SAM's :Lambs will be in attendance with information on their group so you can get to make some new friends. Oct 14, DUE TO PREDICTIONS OF BAD WEATHER WE HAVE
TO CANCEL. THE HAUNTED HAYRIDE WE HAD SCHEDULED, BUT -
we will be attending a movie instead where we won't have to contend with
low temperatures and snow (Brrrr) Oct 21 , 7:15 pm - Ghost Walk at Seabreeze - Tickets $10 at the door. Tour departs at 8 pm from Shamrock Jack's Steak & Seafood, 4554 Culver Road (next to SeaBreeze Amusement Park). Singles from Webster area - meet at Good Shepherd church at 7:15 pm to carpool. We may be able to get group discount - call Ginny 585-671-1034 to reserve Oct 27 11 am thru Oct 28 2 pm - Episcopal Diocesan Convention, Hyatt Regency Rochester - SAM's Lambs will be represented at a Booth - stop by to visit and pick up our information. Oct 28, Hallowe'en Party at Good Shepherd - For Children & Adults, Snacks and other goodies, prizes for best costumes, dancing for adults. Cost per person- Children $5.00 Adults $10.00.
