Greetings Lambs, Discussion Groups on Tuesdays: Our Oct and Nov Healing Through Humour sessions were so uplifting we may repeat them again next year. In December we will meet Dec 4, 11, 18, and have open discussions with a new topic each week. We have some newcomers too and this will be a good time to get to know each other. New articles added: New articles by Bishop Spong have been added
to our web site Healing Ministry - Sat Dec 1st at 10:00 AM - On Sat Oct 20th we attended our first Healing session of a new Healing Ministry at Good Shepherd. We have 5 people from our SAM's Lambs who are participating in the Healing sessions and more are welcome if you wish to attend. Bible Study - Saturday Nov 10th we started our new format of viewing DVDs on the 2nd Study group of the month and watched Prophesies of the Old Testament which fit well with our previous week's chapter on Prophets, in Bible For Dummies. We have also added a new dimension to our group - talking about How We Live Our Faith each week so we're not just focusing on spirituality 2/month, but every day in our lives. Coming in December: Winter Planning meeting - Sat Dec 8th - after Bible Study: We will meet to plan our winter sessions, with Father Lance Robbins. We're considering moving discussion groups from Tues nights to a weekend afternoon in the winter; as well as sponsoring a fund-raiser event with Stages Musical Revue Ensemble (mentioned in our Social calendar) To offer suggestions, please call our VM above. Social events for December: Sat Dec 1 6:00 pm - Good Shepherd chime choir plays at 4
corners, Webster, annual parade follows at 6:30 pm Other Ad hoc social events may be added, from our Tuesday night meetings so check our calendar periodically, or call our voice mail info line above.
