Greetings Lambs, Did you know - that approximately 50 - 52% of the total population are single, and most of them are unchurched? In Webster, that means that possibly 2000 of the village population are single for various reasons, and probably do not attend any church. According to research by the Barna organization at www.barna.org most singles do not attend church as they are waiting to be invited. So, help spread the word - everyone is welcome at our Lord's Table at Good Shepherd, including singles. What You Missed: Our Tues night discussion groups are suspended for the summer, but we've been even busier as we attended various free band concerts, and picnics and card games in our homes. On Saturday June 30th we attended Webster's Summer celebration, and were thrilled with the Skycoasters performance. They've been performing for 28 years and they still have that same high energy that turns everybody on. Our Bible Study on the 2nd and 4th Sat mornings is finished for the summer and will resume in September with more from Bible For Dummies, and other materials, like DVDs, videos, or books.
