Greetings Lambs,

What You Missed:

Our winter Tuesday night closed group Love, Sex and Lasting Relationships finished Feb 13th. This series was very informative and sparked some lively discussions. On Feb 20th we resumed our Open discussion groups using 2 articles – HIS Dating Game Plan, and HER Dating Game Plan. Our Bible Study continued on the 2nd and 4th Sat mornings, with Father Lance Robbins providing enlightenment of Cain’s behaviour in Genesis, from the Bible for Dummies.

Our Monthly Feast had to be cancelled due to a spot of bad weather, but we made up for it on Feb 25 with a Sunday Supper at a member’s home, which was also a planning meeting for future activities.

Feb 27 –> Mar 13, 7:30 – 9:00 pm –The Five Languages Of Love, 25 mins for CD followed by discussion.
Mar 20, 27, 7:30 – 9:00 pm – Videos by John Gray on ‘Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus’

Special Events -
Good Shepherd Lenten Series: A Study of the World’s Major Religions Thursday 6 pm – Starting Mar 1, opening with a potluck dinner, then a 25 minute video.

Sat Mar 3, 7 pm: Euchre night at Good Shepherd Parish Hall. If you are not already on the list, leave your name and phone #on our Hot line so we can let out host(s) know you are coming.
Fri Mar 9, 6 pm: Dinner & Dancing – Meet at Mr. Dominic’s On The Lake, 4699 Lake Ave Roch. Followed by Line Dance Lessons and dancing at Seabreeze Fire Hall.
Sat Mar 17, 7 – 10pm: Good Shepherd’s St. Patrick’s Day Party – Irish Dancing, singing, refreshments, fun & fellowship Reserve at Tues meetings or Call our hot line.
Sun Mar 18, 2pm - ?: Jamboree at VFW, Lyons. Enjoy a variety of country bands. Donation at the door.
Fri Mar 23, 6 pm: Dinner & Movie – Dinner at Blue Heron on Empire Blvd, Webster, across from Loews theatre, then movie of your choice at Loew’s.
Sat. Mar 31 6pm (approx): April Fools party, at a member’s home. Fools costumes optional – Risso  Therapy required. Call to reserve and get directions. We’ll order pizza from local Pizza parlor, and share cost.

Sat Apr 7 – Jamboree – VFW, Lyons; Fri 4/13 – Dinner & Dance;
Sun Apr 15 2 pm- ? – Bingo;  Sat Apr 21 – Sharing Dinner at a member’s home;

Singles Trips – Trips being considered or planned - 1) a spring trip to Ottawa Canada in May for annual Tulip Festival; 2) a summer trip to Branson Mo. For details sign up on Tues night or call our hot line.

Reminder - Solo Flight Singles Conference – Labor Day – I know Labor Day is a long way off, but start saving now so you can attend. It is a gathering of unmarried Single Episcopalians, and friends from other churches, from all across the U.S.
