April 2008 UPDATE - For

Sunday Afternoon discussions: We have 2 sessions in April – the 6th
and 20th at 2 pm. During April we meet in our church library,
and in May we switch to members’ homes and follow the meeting with a
backyard BBQ. In June thru August we continue with just a fellowship
gathering without the formal discussions. We will also be adding music, so
bring your instruments or best singing voice.
Healing Ministry – Sat April 12 & Sat April 26 at 10:00 am. Several
of our SAM’s Lambs participate in Good Shepherd’s new Healing Ministry
teachings and you are welcome to join us.
Bible Study – We have temporarily suspended our usual Bible Study
gatherings.
Watch for announcements for new dates and new programs.

To carpool to an event, sign up in meetings or call our VM.
Fri April 4, 9 pm – Singles Dance - Meet at the Green Lantern Inn
in Fairport for an open singles dance.
Sat April 5 7:00 pm – Good Shepherd Euchre night in the Parish
Hall. If you’d like to learn to play Euchre, sign up in meetings, or
through our VM. We’ll include you in our "practice sessions".
Sun April 6th, 20th - 2 pm –Sun afternoon
chats in our church library.
Our April 6th session is Unlocking Potential. At times,
we see such great potential in someone, yet we notice over time that it
never develops into tangible fruit. In this session we will give you an
important key that you can use to unlock potential; - with it, you can
help yourself and others grow and improve. The benefits will spill over,
turning your ordinary relationships into extraordinary ones!
Our April 20th session is Give Up the Blame Game. When a
problem arises in your relationship, are you quick to blame, or do you
carefully consider how you may be contributing to the problem? . Come and
learn how to own your own stuff—it will absolutely take a good
relationship to the next level!

Presbyterian Church, 1200 South Winton Road, next to Brighton High School.
Meet in Good Shepherd parking at 7:00 pm to carpool.
Fri April 11, 25, 7 pm. - Friday night dining out - April 11
- Blue Marlin, Webster; April 25 - Beale St. Cafe, Webster. Reserve
in groups or by voice mail above.
Sat April 19, 7 pm – Moose Lodge, Palmyra – Open dance featuring the
Reflections Band with our friend Andrea Stone on the keyboards.
Coming In May - Our annual trip to the Tulip Festival in Ottawa
Canada, May 9th - May 11th. Details
will be announced in groups., on our Voice Mail message, and our May
calendar.
