Update January 1, 2008

Greetings Lambs,

WINTER BREAK TIME – We will not be doing our weekly gathering on Tuesday nights during January & February but we will be having monthly sharing dinners and social events.  Our first sharing dinner Open House is on Sat Jan 12 at 6:00 pm in our Parish Hall. This will be $3. and a dish-to-pass.  We will have music, fun, food & fellowship as well as information on our group.  Please reserve in advance so we know for how many to prepare.

Healing Ministry – Several of our SAM’s Lambs participate in Good Shepherd’s new Healing Ministry teachings and you are welcome to join us. Our next session is Jan 5th
from 10:00 am  – 11:00 am.  We usually meet twice a month but we need to verify the future dates so check back soon or call our voice mail to tell us you want to attend.

Bible/Spiritual Growth Study – We continue with Bible Study on the 2nd and 4th Sat mornings, following the Healing sessions.   We are also considering using a series of DVDs for spiritual growth on alternating Saturdays. We will discuss and make decisions, from the samples, on Jan 12th.
Sat Jan 12th 11:00 am
– Bible Study using Bible For Dummies – chapter 15 –
Rockin; The Temple: Music in Ancient Israel (Psalms),  plus planning for future gatherings.
Sat Jan 26th 11:00 am – Discussion following DVD or video

Book Club - We're starting a book club in January and you can see info on that here.

Sat Jan 12th 6:00 pm - Dish-To-Pass sharing dinner, with music, games, fun & fellowship in our Parish Hall. A good chance to meet some new local singles, and sign up for groups and social events. Watch for the ad in local papers, and bring your friends.

More events are in process, like Friday night fish fry, movies, bowling, dancing, ice skating, etc., and will be added as they are finalized. To find out about them, visit our site, or call our info line, or pick up info at our meetings. Our first meeting of the new year will be on Sunday Jan 6th and we will make a final decision then on whether we will meet weekly or twice monthly, and whether it will be on Saturday or Sunday.
