THE SCROLL February 2009 Update Our Fall Tuesday night discussion groups have concluded and will resume in the spring, but we continue with Bible Study and social events. Sunday February 1 – 3 pm – Dining Out at Beale Street Cafe in Webster. Saturday Feb 7 – 7 pm – Euchre in our Parish Hall. Call our voice mail to be added to the group, either one time or ongoing. Sundays – Feb 8 & 22nd, – 4 pm on 2/8 and 1 pm on 2/22 - Bible Study using "Bible For Dummies", led by Father Lance Robbins, followed by dinner at a local restaurant or a sharing dinner at a member’s home. (No - we're not dummies - it's just written in easy to understand format) See the topics & description at http://www.samslambs.org/BibleStudy/index.htm Saturday Feb 14 – FEBRUARY 14, 7 – 9 PM. ‘Night Of The Heart’ fund-raising event at Good Shepherd, in our Parish Hall –a fun filled evening of music, items for auction, and luscious desserts. Tickets are $5.00 each. Make reservations at our voice mail above or at any of our events prior to the 14th. Friday night dining out – Restaurant locations vary, so sign up in Sunday discussion group or call our info line to reserve or get directions. Other social events - such as sharing dinners, movies, concerts, etc., will be decided ad hoc and announced on our voice mail or web site. All singles are welcome to join us for fun and fellowship. Make suggestions or get details at groups or social events or on our info line above.
