Group Leaders – We’re looking for volunteers – for 4 different committees – Facilitators, Membership Services, Social and Community Involvement. One rep from each committee will attend periodic operating Board meetings to give reports.

Facilitator Committee - experienced, or inexperienced and willing to be trained. Help plan and lead Education and Support programs for our Tues night discussions.

We currently have all members in one group but we are looking at thepossibility of having 3 small groups within SAM’s Lambs – 1 for Widows & Widowers; 1 for Separated/Divorced, and 1 for Never Married.

Membership Committee - "Martha" duties –
* Open Up/Close up - coffee, set out goodies – shop/bake goodies - budget provided
* Host newcomer meal – periodic brunch/dinner at a member’s home or our Parish hall
* Phone tree – inviting or notifying by phone

Social Committee – plan social/fellowship events –
Plan/host social events - movies, day trip, dining in/out, card games, sports, concerts, theatre, etc.

Our committees are another way to make friends and have fun. Committee meetings are in members homes at a time they choose, and are usually followed by social time and fellowship or breaking bread together (feasting) and "Risso Therapy" (healing through humor)
